ECO AGE

Eco is the word used to mention goods, services and activities that will only make less or no harm to the environment or to the living beings. Due to the long term human interference in the global environment, the deterioration of the natural resources and the environment is very much high. Essential actions are required to preserve environment for future generations.

Several actions were initiated by governmental and non governmental organizations for environmental protection. So this time period can be called as eco age where a lot of eco friendly activities are going on. Eco age is the important time period, where sustainability of the environment is having so much importance. Deteriorated environment cannot be re established as previous stage, but we can try to reduce the harmful impact on environment by dedicated approach. Various human movements were raised in this age for the protection of the environment.

In this eco age several non governmental organizations like Green Peace International, ISO etc are establishing standards and provides assistance for the environmental protection. Eco labels are one of the major systems used to mention the goods or services which are eco friendly. Efforts to the protection of the environment include using biodegradable products, usage of the recyclable items, and proper disposal of the waste and proper waste treatments projects.

One another important aspect for eco age is the eco friendly materials, which includes eco friendly building materials. Due to industrialization the constructions are increasing and the deterioration of the natural resources are very high. So the use of eco friendly materials in construction will also help the ecology preservation. Eco age is the crucial era for the globe, since the protection of the environment is very much vital for the existence of the future generations of living beings in earth.
